The Role
As a Business Development Principal, you are responsible for acquiring new clients in the MedTech sector providing long-term support for those clients you acquire with significant development potential.
How You'll Make Impact
- Lead with impact – You'll be responsible for identifying, targeting, and converting new business opportunities across the MedTech sector.
- Own the sales cycle – From prospecting and relationship-building to pitching, proposals, and closing high-value, multi-year contracts.
- Grow strategic accounts – Cultivate long-term client partnerships with R&D leaders, CTOs, and innovation teams.
- Position Zühlke as a trusted innovation partner – Leverage our technical teams to co-create value-driven solutions with clients.
- Drive revenue – Hit ambitious growth targets across Germany, with a focus on regulated medical device engineering and digital health.
- Proven sales success – You’ve sold consulting, engineering services, or custom-built tech solutions into complex organisations.
- A MedTech or Life Sciences network – You know the ecosystem and have an active network of decision-makers within the MedTech sector across R&D, regulatory, or innovation teams.
- Commercial instinct – You’re opportunity-led, fluent in value-based selling, and skilled at navigating long sales cycles and complex stakeholder groups.
- Tech & industry fluency – You’re comfortable talking about digital health, medical devices, or diagnostics, and understand the R&D process in regulated environments.
- Strong communicator – You speak German and English fluently and can engage both technical and executive-level stakeholders with credibility.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (business, engineering, life sciences, etc.)
