Job Description

As an intern on Bell Labs Internship - Goal-oriented Communication, you would join the Network Automation team, focusing on optimization, low-latency communication and AI.

Position: Bell Labs Internship - Goal-oriented Communication

Duration: 6 months

Location: Stuttgart, Germany

Education Recommendation: Bachelors, who would like to take part in an internship before graduating from their Master studies

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

As part of our team, you will:

• Conduct in-depth research to explore and analyse the state of the art in AI technologies and semantic communications relevant to our projects.
• Present findings and progress updates through engaging presentations, demonstrating clear communication and analytical skills.
• Take the initiative to propose new ideas that could drive future research directions and project outcomes.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation by participating in brainstorming sessions and team discussions.
• Gain hands-on experience in a cutting-edge environment that fosters creativity and experimentation.
  
  

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

• Familiarity with machine learning principles
• Coding experience especially in AI/ML development
• Solid understanding of wireless communication technologies
• Good verbal communication and presentation skills
  
  

It would be nice if you also had:

• Experience in scientific writing
• Experience in network optimization techniques
• Background in mathematical modelling
• Proficiency in TCP/IP protocol stack
