The Opportunity:

As an exercise planner on our team, you’ll develop, implement, and measure the effectiveness of plans and procedures for clients, creating rich content using programs of record, current plans and evolving technology in a symbiotic script to help you tell a realistic story. You’ll listen to client challenges and identify threats, gaps, or risks that need to be explored and provide a space for recommendations that will make lasting, real-world impact. As a leader in the company’s support to the United States Marine Corps Forces Europe and Africa Operations directorate, you’ll have the chance to work cross-functionally with other wargame analysts, operations researchers, and senior leadership on projects that are making an impact on critical missions. You’ll share your expertise and collaborate with the industry’s best trainers and coaches through our custom “Train the Trainer” programs, including Modeling and Simulation, Wargaming, and Exercise Design, Event Planning and Facilitation and Continuity of Operations.

You Have:

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite of programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint
• Ability to travel anywhere in the United States and the EUCOM and AFRICOM Areas of responsibility
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
• Ability to work extended hours in support of exercise requirements
• TS/SCI clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience with the military or 15+ years of experience with the military in lieu of a degree
• Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I course
  
  
  

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with joint exercise planning
• Experience with joint operations, the Joint Training System, and the Joint Training Information System (JTIMS)
• Experience at the service component or combatant command level
• Knowledge of Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) concepts
  
  
  

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
