Responsibilities

TeamViewer's Frontline is a pioneering solution in the realm of connected work software that leverages augmented reality (AR) and wearable computing to revolutionize how businesses approach digitally connected work in logistics, maintenance, and training across nearly every industry. Frontline is not just a product but a critical enabler of the future of work. Its ability to enhance remote assistance, improve training, boost productivity, and adapt across industries makes it an indispensable tool for any forward-thinking organization.

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Vice President, Software Development (all genders) to lead our engineering teams, drive technical excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of innovative software solutions. This role is crucial in shaping our technology strategy, fostering a high-performance engineering culture, and scaling our software development processes to support business growth.

• Oversee design, development and deployment of AR and wearable computing solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements
• Lead, mentor, and inspire software development teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Oversee the end-to-end software development lifecycle, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure products that meet industry standards
• Work closely with Product Management, UX/UI, and other business units to align development efforts with customer needs and market trends
• Guide architectural decisions, drive modernization efforts, and ensure robust, future-proof technology to keep TeamViewer Frontline at the forefront of the market
• Attract, retain, and develop top talent, fostering professional growth and succession planning
• Manage engineering budgets, tools, and resources to maximize ROI and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Proven experience of +10 years in software development leadership roles, preferably in AR, wearable computing, or related fields
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to drive innovation and inspire a team to achieve ambitious goals
• Experience with agile development processes and tools
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
