As Senior Expert IT Operations (EMEA) (m/f/d), you will play a key role in ensuring the reliable delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of Corporate IT services across the EMEA region. Acting as the central operational interface between business stakeholders, IT Site Managers, Corporate IT teams, and external service providers, you will drive service excellence, coordinate escalations, and promote transparency in IT service performance.

In this position, you will provide functional leadership to regional IT Site Managers, aligning priorities, governance, reporting, and service-management practices across multiple locations. You will also contribute to regional IT financial management through budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and the validation of IT-related expenditures.

This role is focused on operational governance, service quality, and continuous improvement. Ownership of IT products, services, and technical solutions remains with the respective Corporate IT Product Owners, Service Owners, and technical delivery teams.

Explore Your Tasks And Responsibilities

• Own regional IT service delivery performance, service quality, and operational excellence across all sites.
• Provide functional leadership and coordination of IT Site Managers, ensuring alignment of priorities, governance, and reporting standards.
• Lead regional escalation and problem-management activities, driving sustainable resolution of major and recurring service issues.
• Monitor service performance, identify risks and improvement opportunities, and drive continuous enhancement of IT operations and support services.
• Act as the primary operational interface between regional business leadership, IT Business Partners, Corporate IT teams, and external service providers.
• Coordinate cross-site IT initiatives and ensure effective implementation of Corporate IT standards, processes, and governance requirements.
• Support regional IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and validation of IT-related expenditures.
  
  

Show Your Expertise

• University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in IT operations, IT service management, or regional IT service delivery within an international enterprise environment.
• Proven expertise in service-performance management, operational escalation management, problem management, and continuous service improvement.
• Experience leading and coordinating geographically distributed IT teams and managing external IT service providers.
• Strong understanding of enterprise IT services, operational governance, IT financial management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and invoice validation.
• Solid knowledge of IT service management frameworks, preferably ITIL, and broad exposure to workplace, infrastructure, connectivity, cloud, and business application services.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to drive sustainable outcomes across business and IT functions.
• Fluency in English and willingness to travel within the assigned region.
