The Opportunity:

As an Engagements and Transition Specialist, you’ll serve as the primary coordinator for industry engagements by our Department of War (DoW) customer. You’ll lead outreach efforts, plan and execute impactful events, and analyze the operational impact of industry partnerships. Your work will drive the transition of successful solutions into operational capabilities, ensuring the customer remains at the forefront of innovation and readiness.

You’ll execute industry outreach by coordinating engagements with staff and service components to address theater needs and transition approaches. You’ll support the planning and execution of summits, webinars, and conferences that serve as platforms for strategic messaging and operational insights. By providing data-driven recommendations, you’ll inform investment strategies and enable key advocacy through inputs to strategic documents and priorities.

You’ll advocate for and communicate requirements and results with stakeholders across the DoW, industry, investment capital, academia, and allied countries, facilitating the transition of innovative solutions. Your efforts will foster collaboration, enhance operational effectiveness, and strengthen customer engagement with key partners.

You Have:

  • Experience in industry engagement, defense outreach, or technology transition roles
  • Experience planning and executing large-scale events, including summits, conferences, and webinars
  • Experience in data-driven decision-making and impact assessment
  • Knowledge of defense innovation, technology transition, or operational capability development
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree


Nice If You Have:

  • Experience working within the European Theater or with allied partners
  • Experience supporting technology transition or innovation initiatives in a defense context
  • Experience with DoW processes, functions, and defense acquisition pathways
  • Experience with stakeholder engagement across industry, academia, and government
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI, SharePoint, or similar tools for data analysis and collaboration
  • Possession of excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders and various audiences
  • Master's degree in International Relations, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a Communications field


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
