Operations Engineer Robotics - #2772681
NODE Robotics
Date: vor 2 Stunden
Stadt: Stuttgart
Vertragstyp: Ganztags
Your mission
Every site we go into is different: other floors, other racks, other people. Our robots have to work there from day one and keep working on day 400. Making that happen is your job.
You're the person between NODE.OS and the customer's floor. You enable mobile robots with NODE.OS, get them localizing and navigating in a real facility, and hand them over to a customer technical team that can run them without calling us every morning.
When something breaks, you find out whether it's the robot, the building, the network or our software, and you make sure it doesn't break the same way twice.
You work in the office, on customer and on end-user sites. You don't just report what you find there, you also fix it in the software. An engineering role with real customer contact, not a support desk, and up to 30% of your time on customer sites.
What You'll Do
Your profile
Must-have
You'll often be the first person a customer talks to when something goes wrong, so experience here matters:
…you're straight out of studies or prefer to work only from a desk. No hard feelings, this role needs field experience.
Who You Are
Those are the basics. Equally important is what you bring as a person:
Day four of commissioning a new site. Acceptance test is on Friday. Two of six robots keep losing localization near the loading docks, on and off. The other four are fine. It's 2 pm, and at 6 pm the customer's project lead wants a clear answer: is Friday on or not?
What do you check in the next four hours, what exactly do you tell her at 6, and what would you change in our software so the next site doesn't run into the same thing?
Half a page. Bullets fine. No right answer, we want the reasoning.
Send it instead of a cover letter. A good answer gets you a conversation, fast.
